The Many Faces of Kevin Haney

MA talks in depth with Kevin Haney about his many faces, both those he wears as a make-up artist and those he’s created. He tells us about how he got started in the business, and where he sees his career going. Haney also shares with us his successes and failures using gelatin and foam prosthetics. Airbrush in Make-Up Artistry Part I: Equipment

MA assembled a panel of four excellent make-up artists who use an airbrush on a daily basis in their work to give us their opinion on which equipment is the best. The make-up artists questioned were Michael Westmore (Oscar winner), Scott Wheeler (Star Trek), Bradley M. Look (Star Trek, Congo, Mask) and Gino Acevedo (Demolition Man, Wolf, Nutty Professor, Men in Black). Topics discussed include: what type of airbrush is best, what type of compressor is best, what kind of products to use in the airbrush, how to clean the airbrush and how does it excel over traditional techniques.
